Outfit of the day - Going Green

With these first rays of sunshine peaking through a constant wall of grey, I feel like I am more motivated than ever to share some looks and experiment. I have to admit, that with the amount of hours spent behind my desk at the homeoffice, dressing up and trying out new outfit combinations hasn’t been the easiest thing to do on a regular basis, but I feel like the blog is such a constant source of motivation and inspiration that this will get better with time. So please stick with me as I give this whole outfit blogger thing a try, I’ve been loving this kind of posts for years at other creators! It feels slightly retro now, but telling you a bit more about my thoughts feels so much more intimate than a 15 sec reel, right?

Lots of secondhand pieces

I have honestly been loving secondhand shopping at the moment, even more than I have done before. When planning photoshoots it’s often the fastest option to resort to classic fast fashion outlets, but recently I have been enjoying discovering new unique pieces so much! I’ve been spending hours on Sellpy and found some really great pieces.

The simple babyblue sweater vest is one of these finds, I love the layered look with my checkerboard jacket. The jacket’s incredibly lightweight, so putting something warmer underneath gives it more texture. I am mostly living my life in colorful pants - even though I am seriously planning on switching it up with some skirts and dresses for spring! The green tone of this one is very unique but so easy to combine with blues, rosés or pinks, so it’s become pretty much a staple for me.

I am currently trying to capture more outfits on the go, to create more realistic impressions instead for perfectly styled moments in the studio. For these images, me and my partner Chris were on our way to get some coffee at “Schamong Kaffeerösterei” here in Cologne and it felt like spring was just around the corner.

Thank you so much for reading and see you soon for the next outfit of the day!

x

Anna
